They can still use planeswalkers, so its not exactly the same (that was The Immortal Suns best feature, after all), but the sinking feeling you get of this game is going to go longer but theres no chance Im going to win when your opponent casts it is still there
The crew cost is high, but you only need three of the Pilot tokens it can make to get it online

As I was designing the field, it was pretty difficult for me to come up with a concept, so I used Borreload Dragon as a reference to take some inspiration, for example Borreload Dragon has those metal shields that have bunch of holes in them, so I placed those at top and bottom of the field arena
