Actually most of the mechanics from this set are pretty strong

Just casting this card, letting it eat a removal spell, and drawing three cards in response is just a massive advantage

A 6/5 with flying and trample for five mana just gets the job done, and that's before factoring in all of his abilities

I used to shy away from Scam because the deck would often need to mulligan to fast starts, but thanks to Fable of the Mirror-Breaker and Orcish Bowmasters there are enough good cards to play a fair game
