Hunting Dogs, Mare and Foal, Double Sided Later 19th Century Ink Sketches lacquered box holding up a brush inThis came from a later 19th century sketchbook found in Pennsylvania last summer, which included a few wonderful folk art watercolor drawings of a very different nature that I pulled out and quickly sold; going through some piles this week I came back across this one though and find it both sides of it too charming to throw into the summer flea market pile. These hunting dogs have a lot of life in them I think, and I especially love the face on the
